I have been obsessed with makeup since I was old enough to hold a brush, but for some reason I never thought of making it my career. I graduated from NC State, majoring in Criminology and Law & Justice thinking I had my life figured out, and planned to work for the SBI. In the middle of applying/interviewing with the SBI, I landed a job at MAC cosmetics and realized immediately THIS is what I was meant to do. I soon realized my passion was not just makeup, but making people feel their best. I dreamed of opening a spa and makeup studio, and 16 years later in Nov 2022, I was finally able to make that dream a reality with Fenn, which is the Arabic word for art!

I was born and raised in Raleigh, married a Raleigh native and don’t ever plan on leaving Raleigh. We have 4 kids who are my biggest cheerleaders. If I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with family and friends, at a country concert, or at the beach!
